A relative newcomer to the Champagne scene, Thiénot was founded by Alain Thiénot in 1985 and today is run by his children, Garance and Stanislas Thiénot alongside renowned chief winemaker, Nicolas Uriel.
The house’s vintage and non-vintage cuvées are created using more than 50% grapes grown on Thiénot’s own vineyards across the historic valley of Ay and the Côte des Blancs, Dizy and Cumières and on the slopes to the south of Epernay, while the headquarters of the family House is located in Reims’ historic Rue des Moissons.
Today, the house produces four core Champagnes – Brut, Blanc de Blancs, Brut Rosé and Vintage – in addition to its acclaimed limited ‘Collection Famille’ and ‘Special Release’ offerings.
