Moët & Chandon

One of the world’s largest and most recognised Champagne houses, Moët & Chandon was founded in 1743 by wine trader Claude Moët. Today, the winery is the co-owner of the luxury goods company LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE.

With 1,190 hectares of vineyards in Épernay, Moët produces around 28 million bottles of Champagne a year across a variety of styles, though it is known for its best-selling Brut Imperial, launched in 1860. The house also produces a further five million bottles a year under the Dom Pérignon brand.
