The landmark Gault&Millau UAE 2022 Gala took place at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah on Tuesday, June 14. The event saw 200 of the UAE’s top chefs, sommeliers and restaurateurs come together for an evening of celebration.
The much-anticipated event celebrating the country’s gastronomy scene saw Burj Al Arab chefs Saverio Sbaragli and Andrea Migliaccio create a specially curated five-course tasting menu, featuring dishes representing the hospitality group’s very best restaurants.
The evening was a culmination of the brand’s closely guarded, anonymous investigations of the UAE’s best restaurants. As well as the first ‘toque’ ratings being announced, there were also awards handed out to individuals and restaurants from across the UAE’s culinary quarters.
