South African chef Jabir Moses initially trained at Capsicum Culinary Studio before joining the acclaimed Test Kitchen by Luke Dale Roberts.

After two years, Moses moved to Roberts’ Cape Town restaurant, The Potluck Club, where he worked as as a chef de partie, before moving on to the group’s Shortmarket Club. He later returned to The Test Kitchen by Luke Dale Roberts as senior sous chef before relocating to the UAE to take the helm as head chef at Flamingo Room by Tasha’s.

Moses draws influence from classic French, Asian and Cape Malay flavours, as well as from his childhood memories, describing his approach as ingredient-led with respect for the finest produce at the heart of every dish.
